A report out of Germany has the Nets using their open two-way contract on Paul Zipser, a 6’8” forward who played 98 games —including 30 starts— with the Bulls the last two seasons.
There’s been no confirmation on that report from Rhein-Neckar Zeitung, a newspaper in Heidelberg, Zipser’s hometown. The Nets have until January 15 to sign a two-way deal. Alan Williams, who the Nets signed to a two way in September, was waived at his request last week so he can pursue a more lucrative contract in China.
Zipser, 24, was waived by the Bulls this July after averaging 4.
