At 0-7 on the year, not in possession of their 2016 first-round draft pick, and with a roster full of bloated contracts, deficient veterans, and raw, low-upside youngsters, good news is hard to come by these days for the Nets. So the Brooklyn faithful will take it wherever they can get it.
After exiting the fourth quarter of Saturday’s loss to the Milwaukee Bucks with soreness in his surgically repaired right foot, Nets center Brook Lopez has reportedly escaped a serious injury, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
The seven-footer underwent X-rays on the troublesome right foot, which has required three surgical procedures over the years, and the results are said to have come back clean.
