Raid on Nets continues as Timberwolves nab assistant coach Prigioni

The Minnesota Timberwolves came back for more.

The team picked off a member of the Nets staff for the second time this offseason, nabbing Pablo Prigioni as an assistant coach.

Prigioni, 40, who served at Brooklyn’s player development coach, will instead focus on the Timberwolves’ offense, according to ESPN.com.

In May, Minnesota lured away director of global scouting Gianluca Pascucci. Both he and Prigioni have connections with new Timberwolves president Gersson Rosas.

A former Knicks guard, Prigioni is the latest member of Sean Marks’ team to be poached in recent weeks, with G League coach Will Weaver going to Sydney, assistant coach Chris Fleming joining the Bulls staff and assistant GM Trajan Langdon taking over in New Orleans.
