Pickle thrown onto Barclays court delays Bucks-Nets game

A lot of people made a fuss Monday night when someone threw a pickle onto the court during an NBA game. We don’t see why; it wasn’t a big dill.

Regardless, play between the visiting Milwaukee Bucks and the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center had to be stopped in the fourth quarter, with referee Gary Zielinski bravely picking up the offending cuke without any gloves or protective equipment. He must really trust the disinfecting power of brine.

The Nets-Bucks game was delayed because of a pickle. This is not a joke. https://t.co/VXbBuuLoqW https://t.co/e543uwfFJz
