Greivis Vasquez inked a one-year deal worth $4.3 million this offseason and is ecstatic for the opportunity. Last December, the 29-year-old guard from Venezuela underwent surgery to repair a bone spur in his left foot.
He isn’t yet 100 percent, he looks ready to play in the season opener against the Boston Celtics on October 26.
After playing in just 23 games with the Milwaukee Bucks last season, Vasquez can’t wait to contribute for the Nets, and he doesn’t see himself being on the team solely to mentor young players.
