“I knew it was going in right away,” Caris LeVert said on the YES postgame show.
LeVert held the ball with the game tied at 110 apiece. The shot clock was turned off and the Nets were going for the win. LeVert was overplayed, hesitated, then gathered himself and drove hard to the hole, finishing a tear drop win 0.3 second left.
He finished the night with 17 points and five assists in 31 minutes.
More importantly, it was his second game-winner of the season and Brooklyn’s first three-game win streak of the season with a final score of 112-110 at Denver (9-3), Friday night.
