Nic Claxton was back on the court at HSS Training Center Saturday, but his return to the court remains unsettled. It won’t be Monday night vs. the Washington Wizards, Claxton told beat writers.
“I’m progressing, feeling good, enjoying the journey,” he said after practice. Both he and the Brooklyn Nets brain trust have said not to worry. He’ll be ready for the opener vs. the Hawks in Atlanta, maybe even the final preseason game on October 18 vs. the Toronto Raptors at Barclays Center or the Philadelphia 76ers at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia two days earlier.
