Ok, yes, we are in the playoffs. While that is an amazing feat to accomplish so early in the season, the victory in itself might have been even sweeter for the red hot New York Liberty. It was much more than a victory against the defending champions Las Vegas Aces. It was also a wake up call to the rest of the WNBA stating, “Hey! We are here now!”
Following the win, the momentum will not pause for the Liberty. They will play their first home game following the Olympic break against the Dallas Wings Tuesday.
