The Brooklyn Nets’ big summer took a slight hit on Thursday.
Wilson Chandler will be suspended 25 games for testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs, according to ESPN.
The Nets signed Chandler, the 32-year-old former Knick, to a one-year deal last month. He figured to get some of the minutes destined for Kevin Durant, who signed with the Nets but will miss most, if not all of the 2019-20 NBA season after rupturing his Achilles during the NBA Finals with the Warriors.
Chandler averaged six points and 4.2 rebounds a game last season over 51 total games with the 76ers and Clippers.
