First came the Coogi. Now the graffiti.
The Nets will roll out a concrete-gray, “Statement Edition” uniform designed by Eric Haze this season. Fans will get a sneak peak at Saturday’s open practice in Brooklyn Bridge Park, before the Nets officially debut them Nov. 1 against the Rockets.
Brooklyn will wear the uniforms 22 times this season, including Nov. 24 against the Knicks at the Garden. They’ll be the Nets’ fourth uniform, including their regular black and white jerseys, as well as the Biggie-inspired Coogi-style jerseys.
The jerseys have “BKLYN” hand-drawn across the chest and stars down the side as a nod to the Nets’ old jerseys.
