After taking a beating Friday in Boston, the Nets didn’t have to wait long for a chance for some get-back, an opportunity to prove they were a better team than the one that looked flat and got humiliated at TD Garden.
This time they came out fired-up, built a huge lead and held on for a 111-101 wire-to-wire victory over the Celtics at Barclays Center.
Brooklyn flipped the script on the Celtics. After getting eviscerated 43-23 in the second quarter Friday in Boston en route to a 120-95 loss, this time they actually built a sizable lead in the second quarter and repelled Boston on for the win.
