The Warriors are a revamped superteam.
Brooklyn and Golden State have agreed to a sign and trade that will send D’Angelo Russell to the Warriors on a four-year, $117 million max contract, according to ESPN.
Russell was a goner as soon as the Nets agreed to terms with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant to open free-agency on Saturday. In Golden State, Russell will likely assume point-guard duties while Steph Curry slots to shooting guard.
In order to make room for his contract, the Warriors are trading veteran Andre Iguodala to the Grizzlies.
