In a stunning turn of events, the Nets have cleared Mirza Teletovic for basketball-related activities, and to practice fully with the team Friday ahead of their first round series against the Hawks starting Sunday.
“Mirza has been cleared to resume basketball-related activities,” Nets general manager Billy King said in a statement. “Mirza will be listed as out for games, and if his status changes, we will update at the appropriate time.”
Teletovic has been out since Jan. 22, when he left a game in Los Angeles against the Clippers due to shortness of breath, and it was later determined that he had multiple blood clots in his lungs and would be sidelined indefinitely.
