The Nets got some welcome and unexpected news Friday when Mirza Teletovic, who has been out since January after blood clots were discovered in his lungs, was cleared to return to full practice with his teammates.
“I mean, I just had the first practice, so I’m trying to get back into it,” Teletovic said after the Nets practiced at their New Jersey facility. “They’re going to look at it and see, and then probably decide if I’ll play or not play, but for now I’m just happy to be back.”
Teletovic began working out just three weeks after it was discovered he had blood clots in his lungs after complaining of shortness of breath and being removed from a game in Los Angeles against the Clippers in mid-January.
