ATLANTA — With every passing game, the Nets’ search for a stretch four seems more and more a thing of the past.
Rodions Kurucs’ first three starts at power forward after being moved from backup small forward have all resulted in victories for the Nets. And the Latvian rookie has helped pull their collective butts out of the fire in every one.
“Listen, he’s saving us a little right now,” coach Kenny Atkinson admitted. “His play has been huge since we put him at the four spot. He’s really responded well and I don’t think we win these games without him.
