The Brooklyn Nets had an impromptu team meeting after a 118-95 blowout loss. The meeting was the topic of conversation at Monday’s shootaround, along with Trevor Booker (more on that later).
On Friday, the Nets, who usually come out with a high amount of energy and hustle if nothing else, played flat, which the players themselves acknowledged.
Sean Kilpatrick, who’s become one of the premier players on the team, talked about the spontaneous get together.
“It was something that was good for the team – We needed that,” he said. “We were kind of lackadaisical, we didn’t come out aggressive to play.
