The Nets are going to take as much time as they can finalizing their regular-season roster.
After not making any roster moves Sunday, the Nets will go into Monday with 17 players under contract — two more than the NBA limit. By the end of business Monday, the Nets will have to shed two contracts.
With 13 players already holding fully guaranteed contracts, the decision likely will come down to a choice between the four players with non-guaranteed or partially guaranteed deals: Donald Sloan, Willie Reed, Dahntay Jones and Justin Harper.
The player most likely to claim one of those spots is Sloan.
