David Blatt may not have been good enough for Cleveland or LeBron James’ taste, but at least one Net wouldn’t mind seeing him in Brooklyn. Nets swingman Sergey Karasev — who played for Blatt on the Russian National Team — said his former mentor would be a logical fit for the Nets.
“It should be logical, because he spent seven years coaching the national team in Russia and for sure [Nets owner Mikhail] Prokhorov knows him and I’m sure they communicate,” Karasev told The Post. “I’m sure he calls him and they talk about everything. But I think he’d fit pretty good for this team, especially if like everybody says we try and build a new team and have young pieces over [the summer].
