Nets swap former Baylor basketball players

Nets swap former Bears Jefferson, Miller

Former Baylor basketball player Cory Jefferson was waived from the Brooklyn Nets on Monday. In 50 games last season, he averaged 3.7 points and 2.9 rebounds in 10.6 minutes per game.

Also on Monday, the Nets acquired Jefferson’s former Baylor teammate, Quincy Miller. Brooklyn traded veteran guard Steve Blake to Detroit for Miller’s rights.

The 22-year-old Chicago native has averaged 4.3 points and 2.4 rebounds per game over his four-year career.
