Nets’ Spencer Dinwiddie puts on show in front of idol Kobe Bryant

Spencer Dinwiddie likes to play it cool. Kobe Bryant’s presence at Barclays Center on Saturday night wouldn’t let him.

The two chatted before the game, when Dinwiddie said Bryant told him he was “playing like an All-Star.” Then Dinwiddie went out and showed why, saving his best for last, scoring 16 of his 39 points in the fourth quarter of the Nets’ 122-112 comeback win over the Hawks.

“I’m a real mellow guy, for the most part — yeah, no, not with Kobe,” Dinwiddie said. “By far my favorite player of all time. His career was basically my childhood.
