Brooklyn added power forward Luis Scola on a one-year deal Tuesday morning, The Post confirmed.
With stringy second-year pro Chris McCullough and newly signed Trevor Booker – who started just two games last season in Utah – as the only power forwards on the Nets roster, Scola fills a need — if only for a short time.
Scola, 36, is just four years younger than general manager Sean Marks, but the experienced Argentine can provide veteran leadership for an exceedingly young team in rebuilding mode. He still had some gas left in the tank last season, and could provide a nice foil for old-school center Brook Lopez.
