With the Nets signing of forward Jacob Wiley to a two-way contract, Brooklyn is closing on the 20-player limit for training camp. Wiley, an undrafted 6’8” power forward out of Eastern Washington, brings the Nets camp roster to 18 — 13 players with guaranteed deals and another five with partial guarantees.
Of the five, two —Wiley and Yakuba “Billy” Ouattara — are on two-way deals, a new feature of the NBA collective bargaining agreement. Both will play primarily for the Long Island Nets, Brooklyn’s G-League affiliate.
Wiley’s signing becomes official nearly two months after CBS Sports Matt Norlander and ESPN’s Ian Begley first reported it.
