Lance Thomas is crossing over the Brooklyn Bridge.
The 6-foot-8 forward, who spent the last four-and-a-half seasons with the Knicks before he was waived in June, signed with the Nets on Friday. Terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.
Thomas’ signing comes amid reports of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant pushing for the Nets to sign another former Knicks star in Carmelo Anthony, per The Athletic. Multiple reports said several players on the Nets are “fully in favor” of Anthony coming aboard.
Thomas nearly started his career with the Nets after he was a member of the team’s Summer League squad after going undrafted in 2010.
