The Nets summer league teams have a woeful record historically and this year's squad is no different. But this year, the offensive ineptitude is reaching new levels. They lost their third straight Tuesday, 64-55, to Charlotte.
There wasn't much to recommend, other than Markel Brown finally started breaking out of his funk. After shooting 4-of-17 and failing to connect on a three in his first two games, Brown finished with 12 points on 3-of-4 from deep ... but 0-of-6 from inside the arc. He the Nets some agita a the end of the first half, falling hard and writhing in pain while pounding the floor.
