SALT LAKE CITY — The Nets were already in an offense funk before they got to Utah. They sank to new depths in the altitude of Salt Lake City.

Brooklyn took a thorough 114-98 beating at the hands of the Jazz. And they looked offensively incompetent doing it before a sellout crowd of 18,306 at Vivent Smart Home Arena.

“Oh man, just playing here is so tough. It seems like through the history of the NBA you come into Utah you know you’ve got a real tussle on your hands,” coach Kenny Atkinson said.
