Nets players working with communities to feed the hungry on Thanksgiving

It’s that time of year again ... the season when the Nets and their players devote themselves to the giving spirit of the holidays.

After a back-to-back this weekend, the Nets will be at a number of sites around the metro area, both helping out and providing kids and their families with turkey and the fixin’s.

On Sunday, November 18, Jarrett Allen will take 25 children from Brooklyn on a shopping spree at Key Food in Clinton Hill. Allen will help provide the kids and their families with a Thanksgiving meal and will teach the kids about math and budgeting by helping them tally their costs throughout the store.
