Randy Foye, the journeyman combo guard who was one of the last players signed by the Nets last season, wound up being selected as the team’s favorite teammate.
Foye, 33, was selected as best teammate in a vote sponsored by the players union, the NBPA. It’s the second year that the players on each of the league’s 30 teams selected their favorite colleague. Last season, Brook Lopez was named best teammate on the Nets ... and Trevor Booker was selected by his Jazz teammates before he signed with Brooklyn.
Foye, who started 40 games at shooting guard, finished the season, with averages of 5.
