The Nets will open the 2017-18 season on October 18 in Indiana vs. the Pacers, then come home two days later to face the Magic on Opening Night at Barclays.
But the big game —”not just another game,” as D’Angelo Russell put it— comes two weeks later on November 3 when the Nets and their new star open a five-game Ewst Coast trip in L.A. vs. the Lakers. That’s one of two big games on the schedule unveiled Monday. The other is Brook Lopez’s return to Brooklyn. Fans will have to wait until February 2 for that reunion.
