Six days after Adrian Wojnarowski reported the Nets would sign Norvel Pelle, Brooklyn made it official, inking the 6’11” second year player with a 7’3.5” wingspan and 32.5” max vertical.
The Nets now have 13 players under contract as well as two two-ways. That’s two under the maximum. Brooklyn must add at least one player before Saturday, two weeks after the four-team trade that brought James Harden to the Nets.
Pelle, 27, will be available Sunday vs. Washington after fulfilling the NBA’s health and safety protocols, Brian Lewis reports. He’ll back-up DeAndre Jordan, a role left open after the Nets traded Jarrett Allen in the Harden deal.
