Nets lose key assistant coach to Bulls

Nets assistant Chris Fleming is bolting Brooklyn for Chicago — and a promotion.

Fleming, The Post confirmed, has reached an agreement to become the lead assistant to Bulls head coach Jim Boylen. The move was first reported by ESPN.

A 49-year-old New Jersey native, Fleming had been on staff for all three years of Nets head coach Kenny Atkinson’s tenure in Brooklyn. He has known Atkinson since their days at Richmond, and was viewed as instrumental to the Nets’ offense.

Fleming was also on the Summer League staff of the Spurs in 2014, while Nets general manager Sean Marks was in the San Antonio organization.
