Nets veterans Deron Williams and Joe Johnson may not want to buy in Brooklyn.
If Williams is still the face of the franchise and Johnson still part of a so-called Brooklyn Big 3, there was no evidence of it in a letter sent out Friday to Nets season-ticket holders and sponsors and written by general manager Billy King and CEO Brett Yormark.
In a letter obtained by The Post, King and Yormark wrote they visited owner Mikhail Prokhorov two weeks ago in Moscow to “discuss the state of the team.’’
King and Yormark stated the Nets have plans to re-sign Brook Lopez and Thaddeus Young “to keep our core leadership together.
