Through two career NBA seasons, Justin Hamilton couldn’t find consistent playing time. He played 40 minutes one night, six or even none at all the next. His dreams were slipping away. Something had to change.
The change Hamilton decided upon may have turned around his career.
Hamilton left the NBA in his rear-view mirror for the 2015-16 season, tossing away the two years of struggles for a season with Valencia, one of Spain’s top teams.
“Going there, I was playing every night and I was able to reestablish myself, maybe mentally more than anything,” Hamilton said.
