LAS VEGAS — The Nets are all about player development. And for center Jarrett Allen and power forward Rodions Kurucs — the only starters taking part in the Las Vegas Summer League — this offseason is all about growth.
Growth as leaders. Growing from their first playoff experiences in last season’s loss to Philadelphia. And physical growth for their lean frames, so they can go toe-to-toe with the 76ers or anybody else.
“Now we know from the regular season to the playoffs is a massive jump,” assistant coach Adam Harrington said. “Anytime you’re able to learn by experience, everybody in the organization can walk away from that series and learn something.
