Then John Henson erased all that with his putback at the buzzer, his Milwaukee teammates mobbing him on the court and the Nets trudging off as green confetti rained down on them, losers of a 110-108 heartbreaker before 12,570 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
Even with the Nets resting Lopez — get used to seeing that, because it’s going to be a reoccurring theme — coach Kenny Atkinson challenged other players to step up if they were going to beat the Bucks.
