MIAMI — The Nets’ defense hasn’t been the same without Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. And they could be without their best defensive player until March, according to the talented rookie.
“Physically, I’m feeling better. Each day I’m getting one step closer to fully walking and doing things on my own,’’ Hollis-Jefferson wrote on his blog. “It’s looking like I’ll be able to get back on the court after All-Star break, probably around the beginning of March.”
The NBA All-Star break runs Feb. 11-18. That’s 24 more games missed if he returns to action Feb. 19 against the Knicks — he’s already missed 11 — and 30 additional games lost if he comes back March 1 when the Nets visit the Lakers in Los Angeles.
