In the wake of Jarrett Jack’s season-ending knee injury, the Nets will apply for a disabled player exception, though GM Billy King admits they might not use it.
King said there are no available replacements who would “move the needle” and the Nets plan to go with backups Shane Larkin and Donald Sloan.
“I am going to [obtain] the exception,’’ King said at Monday morning’s shootaround before the Nets hosted Boston.
The Nets didn’t use their last exception — obtained after Brook Lopez suffered a season-ending foot injury — and might not use this one.
