DURHAM, N.C. — The Nets will be without Markel Brown for an extended period of time after he suffered a moderate left oblique strain during Thursday’s practice at Duke University.
Brown, a second-year guard, said he made a pass and felt a pop.
“It was just in one of those drills,” Brown said. “It was a non-contact drill. … I just stepped through to make a pass.”
