Five days after releasing him following the expiration of his 10-day deal, the Nets are bringing Justin Anderson back to the organization, this time trading for his G League rights.
The Long Island Nets are acquiring Anderson in exchange for the rights to Henry Ellenson. In the deal, reported Monday night, Raptors 905 is sending Anderson to Long Island for the G League rights to Ellenson. Ellenson had been on a two-way deal with the Nets but was waived on January 3 so the Nets could sign Chris Chiozza. The 6’11” Marquette product is expected to sign a G League contract with Long Island in order to complete the deal.
