The Nets closed out arguably their most important stretch of the season with their biggest rout of the year.
Welcoming former All-Star guard D’Angelo Russell back to Brooklyn, the Nets rolled to a 129-88 thrashing of Golden State before 14,352 at Barclays Center.
It wasn’t the biggest crowd, but they got what they came for, a season-high fourth straight win. The Nets had six players in double-figures, led by Caris LeVert’s game-high 23 points and eight assists. They made life tough on Russell in his return. And they led by as much as 44 points in an easy, no-drama laugher they had to have.
