Nets blow big lead in crushing loss to Hornets

Wednesday started with what looked like a Brooklyn blowout. It ended with Devonte’ Graham’s brilliance.

The Nets wasted a huge lead — or, rather, saw Graham snatch it away from them. They never even slowed the Hornets guard, and by the end they had their collective backs broken, along with their three-game winning streak, as Charlotte walked into Barclays Center and earned a 113-108 win before 15,631 stunned fans.

After the Nets (13-11) had won their prior two meetings with the Hornets, they looked set to take this one when they rolled to a 20-point lead. But Graham had other ideas, pouring in a game-high 40 points — including 13 in the final seven minutes of the game.
