The Brooklyn Nets got a nice win on Tuesday over the Chicago Bulls, 87-86, in game three of the Las Vegas Summer League, thanks to a heroic effort by rookie Ryan Boatright.
With the Nets trailing 86-84 and just 8.9 seconds remaining in the 4th quarter, Boatright took the ball to the hole and got the hoop-plus-the-harm, picking up a 3-point play and the victory for the Nets.
Boatright finished with 21 points on 4-of-9 shooting from the floor and 11-of-12 from the free-throw line. Another great effort by the undrafted rookie.
