Nets wing Alan Anderson, one of the team’s most productive players in the playoffs, underwent successful arthroscopic surgery Monday to remove bone spurs from his left ankle.
The procedure was performed by Dr. Martin O’Malley, the Nets’ foot and ankle specialist, at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan.
General manager Billy King, in his end-of-season press briefing, said Anderson would require surgery. The 32-year-old is expected to resume basketball activities in July.
