Nets’ Alan Anderson undergoes left ankle surgery

Nets wing Alan Anderson, who was one of the team’s most productive players in the playoffs, underwent successful arthroscopic surgery to remove bone spurs from his left ankle Monday.

The procedure was performed by Nets’ foot and ankle specialist Dr. Martin O’Malley at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan. Anderson should resume basketball activities in July.

General manager Billy King, in his end of season press meeting, said Anderson, 32, would require surgery.
