Taurean Prince got his wish.
The Nets and the 25-year-old forward agreed to a two-year, $29-million contract extension on Monday, according to ESPN.
Prince, who is in his fourth NBA season, told The Post last week that he wanted to be with the Nets “as long as I can” and called it the best organization he’s been it. The deal avoids the threat of losing him in unrestricted free agency next summer.
The Nets traded a 2020 first-round pick, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Allen Crabbe to the Hawks for Prince and a 2021 second- round pick in July.
