Nets add savvy veteran and all-time draft disaster

The Nets continued to assemble their jigsaw puzzle roster Thursday, agreeing to terms with combo guard Randy Foye and No. 1 draft bust extraordinaire Anthony Bennett, an NBA source confirmed.

Bennett, selected first overall by the Cavaliers in 2013, worked out for both the Knicks and Nets in the spring at separate free-agent camps. The 23-year-old could go down as the biggest draft bust ever if he doesn’t right the ship soon. He signed a two-year deal with the Nets, but the second year is partially guaranteed, according to The Vertical.

The Cavaliers traded Bennett after his horribly disappointing rookie season to Minnesota along with Andrew Wiggins in the Kevin Love blockbuster.
