Amida Brimah, one of the G League leaders in blocks, has been added to the Nets summer league roster. Michael Scotto of The Athletic broke the news in a tweet...
The 7-foot Brimah, a native of Ghana, has spent two stints in the G League with the Austin Spurs, sandwiched around a season in Serbia. Andy Birdsong, recently named assistant general manager of the Nets, was the Austin Spurs GM.
Last season, Brimah averaged 8.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.9 blocks while shooting 63.3 percent overall in 47 games. Brimah was named to the G League All-Defensive Team in 2018, the same year the Spurs won the G League championship.
