After the 2018 NBA Draft, Sixers head coach -- and current general manager -- Brett Brown made it clear that his team would be "star hunting" this offseason.
Now, things seem to be lining up for Brown to bring in one of the best players in the league.
According to USA Today's Sam Amick, the San Antonio Spurs do not want to trade Kawhi Leonard within the Western Conference. Assuming that is true, that cuts the amount of teams in half that could deal for Leonard, and puts the Sixers on the short list of teams that could realistically land the former All-Star.
