The Brooklyn Nets surprisingly have taken two of the first four games in their first-round playoff series with the top-seeded Atlanta Hawks. They had a bit of help from the zebras in their second win, however.
The NBA released a report Tuesday, via the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, stating the referees made four incorrect calls or non-calls in the final two minutes and overtime of Brooklyn’s 120-115 win Monday in Game 4.
One of those errors benefited the Hawks, but the other three went in the Nets’ favor: a missed 24-second violation with 59.6 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, a non-call on a Brook Lopez traveling violation with 36.
