NBA Mock Draft 2017: Kansas star Josh Jackson to Sixers?

The Sixers didn't land the No. 1 overall pick in Tuesday night's 2017 NBA Draft Lottery, but for the fourth consecutive year will be picking in the top-three of the NBA Draft next month.

Landing the No. 3 overall pick, will put the Sixers in all likelihood out of reach of for both Washington point guard Markelle Fultz, and UCLA point guard Lonzo Ball, but that doesn't mean President of Basketball Operations Bryan Colangelo and Co. won't be able to mine a superstar caliber player to pair with Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, and Dario Saric.

In NJ Advance Media's first mock draft following the NBA Draft Lottery, the Sixers wind up landing Kansas' Josh Jackson, who has been compared to San Antonio Spurs MVP candidate Kawhi Leonard and Chicago Bulls all star Jimmy Butler:

In his lone collegiate season, Jackson's defensive prowess and and physicality was on full display.
