It’s been a rough few days in NetsWorld. The team sat most of starters against the Milwaukee Bucks in front 18,199 people — one of the biggest, if not the biggest, crowds ever at Barclays Center for a Nets game. Teams do this all the time and it’s somewhat justified given Brooklyn brutal upcoming schedule.
All said, they doubled down and sat the few starters who remained, despite trailing by one point late in the third. Despite being a 15-16 club fighting for a playoff spot. Despite Milwaukee’s average road record. And despite all the fans who paid their hard-earned money during Holiday break to watch their beloved Nets (or Bucks).
